Alison, I was saddened and shocked to hear of Gordon's untimely death. Please accept my condolences. Gordon was an outstanding scientist and more importantly a wonderful human being. He was beyond generous with his time, I never wrote a paper during my time at ICRF that Gordon didn’t improve with his insights and superior grammar. He deserved a long and happy retirement.
